who we are

This years gala raised approximately $33000.00 for the SFHMF. Dubbed the Roaring Gala with the splash of red, the YYC Get Your Hearts On Gala was a huge success. The theme of a 20’s and 30’s feel with Fort Calgary as our venue setting was extremely well received and very participated. We were thrilled to have such and wonderful turn out and to have had so many generous people dress to impress!

A big thank you to our hard working committee members Nathalie Wright, Anthony and Brandi Sario, Alicia Ansell, Cynthia Chan, Nick Giugovaz for their creativity and vision that made FUNdraising such a blast. Also a big thank you to our volunteers who donated their time and the event staff at Fort Calgary. Also thank you to our support contractors and sponsors Orange Frog Productions and FM systems as well as our wonderful entertainers and Emcee! You made this event a unique and special one! Our sponsors are listed on our page and while there is too many to list we thank you for all being a part of the event and our very successful silent auction.

Since the event the SFHMF has been able to fund four new families and you will be able to read their stories on the family page of our website.

We hope to see you all again next year for what we promise to be another totally different venue and theme for you to enjoy! We thank you for your continued support!

Our heartfelt thanks,

Doug Cabral
